The visionary game developer, the mind behind the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The renowned game designer died after his automobile collided and caught fire on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This is a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his family, and everyone impacted by his work," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
