Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers before the game's launch, to players forming strong opinions on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Many previous official descriptions note their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it all, which is pure Taurus energy.

Gemini – Super Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's very simple to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which seems very similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very first Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is possibly the non-flame placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame category matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating presence is also very Water Bearer.
