Fresh Details Surface About the Finding of the Bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner Remains

New information has come to light concerning the shocking demises of renowned director Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were found at their residence home on Sunday.

A Initial Report

As detailed in an account citing a family associate, a practitioner scheduled for an session was the first to notice something was wrong after not being able to enter the house. The practitioner then got in touch with the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides in the vicinity.

After gaining access to the house, Romy found her father's body. It is said she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, without knowing at that moment that her mother's body was also inside. A companion who had gone with her then dialed 911. Subsequently, paramedics located Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Charges

Law enforcement have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, along with the charge related to a weapon, reportedly a knife. He is presently detained without bail.

Disputed Reports

The anonymous source questioned several initial details. The source indicated that while Romy Reiner told first responders that her brother Nick resided in a detached unit on the grounds, she did not name him as a potential suspect at that time.

Additionally disputed widely reported suggestions that Rob and Michele Singer Reiner had been particularly "worried" about Nick's behavior in the preceding period. The source claimed the family was "used to working through [Nick's] problems together."

This correction also extends to accounts of alleged "erratic" conduct by Nick at a party thrown by Conan O'Brien the evening prior to the tragedy. While the source stated they were unable to confirm whether Rob had "scolded" his son at the party, they asserted that reports of a "heated argument" between the two were inaccurate.

Investigation Details

According to law enforcement sources, the coroner had not yet established at that point whether the Reiners died late on Saturday or on Sunday. Some media reports suggested the condition of their bodies suggested they had been deceased for a period of time.

Nick Reiner was apprehended at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the neighbourhood of Exposition Park, about 15 miles from the scene. He was set to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his lawyer, Alan Jackson, stated his client had not received medical clearance and would not be present until Wednesday or later.
